Saturday April 25 sees Hayling Choir pair with Portsmouth Pilharmonia Orchestra for an ambitious production of Rossinis Thieving Magpie overture at the Hayling Community Centre. The two groups will also give a rendition of Five Mystical Songs by Vaughan Williams Easter Hymn by Mascagni and Pavanne by Faure.
There will be a number of solo singers including Gillian Sanders Sandra Joliffe and Sue Galley (from the choir) and Hugh Carpenter (from the Philharmonia) all performing on the night.
The evening kicks off at 7.30pm and tickets are 8. They can be purchased from choir members and the community centre.
