Ongoing work relocating the Hayling Seaside Railways current engine shed to its new location at Eastoke Corner reached another milestone yesterday. The existing mainline point handle was successfully moved onto the opposite side of the track.
The railway states that although this wasnt a huge task it was a key piece of work that needed to be completed. The previous position was causing a blockage in front of the new stations entrance.
