Madhatters Tea Room and Gift Shop Seafront are taking part in the UKs biggest charity coffee morning to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Between 10am 12noon on 27 September all the staff will be donating their time and working to help make this the biggest one yet. Cakes have been donated for the cause and other fun games will be happening such as guess the coffee beans in the jar and raffles. The morning is set to be extremely social and Madhatters is expecting a healthy turn out to help with raising funds for the charity.
The Macmillan coffee morning is a large UK wide initiative aiming to get people involved with raising money and heightening awareness of the charity and its cause. In 2012 115000 people signed up and a record 15 million was raised as a result. Macmillans coffee morning event started in 1990 and goes from strength to strength each year.
