Householders and keen gardeners still have time to join Havant Borough Councils Garden Waste Collection Service.

The service now in its forth year gives residents to option of purchasing either a garden waste sack or wheeled bin to place their prunings grass and hedge cuttings into depending on the amount of waste they have.

With currently over 5700 households already subscribing to the service this popular and convenient scheme gives residents in the borough the option of paying an annual fee to join the service which collects garden waste from the boundary of properties every two weeks.

The service runs from 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2015 and is a convenient way to recycle garden waste without having to take it to a Household Waste Recycling Centre.
