A man reported to be in his 50s was found dead after being spotted face down in Langstone Harbour while windsurfing on Saturday. The man who hasnt been named had launched form the popular windsurfing location behind Esso service station next to the oyster beds.
The incident was called in at 12:15pm and lifeboat crews and a Coastguard helicopter were scrambled but unfortunately the man was pronounced dead upon arrival at QA hospital. The situation isnt being treated as suspicious.
