The weekend of 11th and 12 May sees the Hayling Seaside Railway in gala mode as it hosts the AGM of the Narrow Gauge Railway Society at its Beachlands station and depot. The NGRS founded in 1951 is a prestigious national organisation with a world-wide membership. We are honoured therefore that they have chosen to visit us in this the railways 10th year of operation.

There will be plenty to see for all of our visitors with veteran coal fired live steam loco Wendy in action pulling public steam specials with tickets at normal diesel prices. While the railways resident diesel fleet plays a supporting role hauling a series of heritage freight trains showing how all across the world narrow gauge railways deliver the goods!

Trains run from Beachlands station beside the Funland Roller Coaster to Eastoke Corner with the first passenger train from Beachlands due at 11 am. More about the Hayling Seaside Railway at
