If you havent come across Haylings own merry band of ukulele players the Huggers then nows the time to get involved with this come all ye group of musicians.
The brainchild of Avril Keyes the idea behind the once a month gatherings at the Lifeboat Inn is to bring together anyone who plays the ukulele or banjolele and indulge in a jolly good musical knees up.
It doesnt matter what level of player you are everyone is encouraged to come along and get involved. Chest bass players are also being sought.
Dont be put off if youre not the musical type youre still invited along on the first Monday of every month to take part in a fun and lively community driven night of tunes music and banter.
With many experienced players on hand its also a great way for beginner and intermediate strummers to pick up tips on tuning and playing.
The nights kick off at 7.30pm and runs through until approximately 9.30pm.
