Reports are filtering through regarding the Hants and IOW air ambulance having to make an emergency landing in a Hayling field yesterday. According to a thread in the Hayling.co.uk forum one resident said there was a strong smell of fuel as the helicopter touched down around 13.15 in the field behind Haylings Royal British Legion.
Details are scarce but it seems there was a technical fault which caused the helicopter to make an emergency landing.
