Former Tory minister and star of Strictly Come Dancing Ann Widdecome is heading to the island June 10 to chat about her colourful life in politics her time on the BBC 1 TV show and her autobiography.
Marie Telford of Hayling Bookshop has organised the talk which will see Miss Widdecome discussing everything from the coalition MPs expenses the state of the nation and Strictly.
Her autobiography Strictly Ann reveals many insights regarding her time in politics and her frank and to the point nature is what won her many fans and admirers during her 2010 TV appearance. Ann is no stranger to to the square box though as shes also a regular on satirical quiz show Have I Got News For You.
Tickets for the talk are 20 and the event will be held at Hayling Island Community Centre. The cost includes a signed copy of her autobiography.
