Unfortunately due to the apparent lack of interest Hayling Mardi Gras 2013 has had to be shelved. An update was posted to the Facebook page yesterday which highlighted the reasons why.
Many people on the island were looking forward to an event such as this after the annual carnival had been abandoned.
With a May scheduled cut off point for applications too low numbers are being given as the reason that this years event will now not be happening.
