Charity wrestling will be the order of the day this Sunday at the Hayling Community Centre. The Ryan Savage Trust Wrestling Alliance (inspired by the bravery of cancer survivor Ryan Savage) are inviting families to come and witness throws take downs and holds all in aid of raising money for The Rowans Hospice.
Ryan Savage is an eight year old from County Durham who wasnt expected to live longer than two months after he was diagnosed with cancer at age three. After spending three years in and out of hospital he pulled through although still has regular check ups every eight weeks. He now helps raise money for other children suffering from cancer and started his own wrestling federation.
The American style wrestling shows are appealing to all ages and all proceeds from the event will go to the Purbrook based hospice.
