For a long time Haylings play parks were in need of face lifts. Mengham Park was one such facility on the list and after hard work and fund raising from councillors and local residents the finished/revamped park is now open for business.
Featuring a plethora of obstacles that will appeal to both younger and older children its a welcome update that puts the islands youth first.
Cllr Leah Turner a founding member of the Play Parks for Hayling action group was in attendance for the grand opening and said she couldnt wait to welcome all ages along to enjoy the new facility.
