The closing date for registering your objections against a proposed new civil engineering depot located off Mill Rythe Lane comes to a close on March 23.
After initial amends to plans by Brenchley Civil Engineering Ltd the firm behind the proposed development a revised application was submitted. The revision was met with almost as much criticism as the original idea and this weekend saw a meeting to discuss the venture which was held at Hayling Community Centre.
Councillor Leah Turner said: My objection remains the amount of traffic coming on and off the island.
Hampshire County Council is expected to make a final decision in May but in the meantime residents are encouraged to register their feedback.
