The Community Advice Day has been organised by the council to help and support those families facing difficulties in todays economic climate.
There are food vouchers up for grabs too donated by local supermarkets to the value of 500. These will be shared out throughout the day by way of a free prize draw. There will also be free childrens activities.
Councillor Yvonne Weeks responsible for Economy and Communities said It is important that as many people who are having difficulties at the moment have access to the advice on offer on the day. Thats why were putting on buses from all around the borough. I would advise anyone who needs help but doesnt have transport to book their place now.
The Community Advice Day will include representatives from: Havant Borough Councils Housing Advice Environmental Health and Housing Benefit teams; South Downs College; Safer Havant Partnership; Citizens Advice Bureau; Guinness Care & Support; Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and The Roberts Centre.
