Havant Borough Council are looking for feedback relating to existing household waste and recycling centres. The council state on their website they want to continue delivering a service which meets the needs of Hampshire residents but represents good value for money. They are therefore reviewing their household waste recycling centre services and have put out a survey to understand peoples views on the subject.

Even if you dont use these sites theyd still appreciate your contribution as there may be points raised that hadnt been considered before. Feedback is also being extended to local businesses charities community organisations and anyone else interested in the service.

HBC say: The HWRC service costs around 10 million a year to run so we have been looking at different options that will enable us to continue delivering a high quality service while reducing overall costs. A new management contract is due to start in 2015 providing an opportunity to introduce new services and policies that can help to deliver future savings or deliver an income to recover some of the costs of the service.
