The Hayling ferry is still unfortunately out of action and will likely be that way until November 10. Delays have been caused due to on going maintenance issues. A gasket blew in the engine three weeks ago and was the cause of the current situation.
The Maritime Coastguard Agency has yet give the green light for the Tina Marie to resume service. They have completed an out of water inspection but now have to do an on water investigation. For further details see teh Hayling ferry Facebook page www.facebook.com/TheHaylingFerry
