Two new sculptural designs are set to be installed on Hayling as part of the new Shipwrights Way trail. A third is also planned but as yet the subject hasnt been decided.
Sculptor Richard Perry has chosen an oyster and Brent goose to be featured along the route although exact locations are still to be confirmed.
Each of the representations will be put in place towards the end of 2013 and have been chosen to reflect the local landscape.
The Shipwrights Way is a 55 mile sculpture trail thats spread across Hampshire and extends from Alice Holt Forest in Bordon passes through Liphook Liss Petersfield Havant Langstone Hayling Island and finishes at Portsmouth Dockyard.
March 24 signalled the official opening of the trail and its now available for walkers cyclists and people with disabilities to enjoy. Some sections are also applicable to horse riders.
