Contingency plans are being put in place in efforts to make sure that the annual do at Northney Farm on July 13 will take place regardless of what Mother Nature decides to bowl our way weather wise.
Its no secret that so far the conditions in 2013 have been decidedly average and cooler than expected.
After one of the chilliest starts to the summer season it can only be hoped that the mercury will rise and well eventually get some proper shorts and t-shirt periods hopefully in time for the charity BBQ.
This years event will feature Take That tribute act Take all That and all proceeds from the function will go towards the up keep and running of the islands community mini bus service.
