A tumble dryer caught fire yesterday afternoon around 2.25pm and emergency services had to be scrambled to deal with the incident at Denhill Close. Breathing apparatus had to be used by firefighters who managed to put the fire out by 2.45pm.
Nine retained crew from Havant fire station attended the blaze which left the home with smoke damage. No injured persons are reported.
