Havant Police have issued an appeal asking for help with locating the whereabouts of a woman who has gone missing on Hayling Island.
The statement was released earlier and reads:
Police are making an urgent appeal for information about a report of a missing woman in the Hayling Island area.
A member of the public approached an officer earlier this afternoon (Wednesday) to say they had seen a woman aged in her late teens to early 20s in a distressed condition walking in the Beachlands area of the seafront.
She was wearing what appeared to be a pink dressing gown.
A search for the woman is continuing.
