Hayling resident and windsurfer James Dinsmore has retained his national slalom windsurfing championship crown for a second year running. Juggling family commitments and a full time job Dinsmore has still found time to train and compete on this years circuit. All his hard work paid dividends as he saw off the competition during the final event of the year in Weymouth last weekend.
With light winds on offer it was technical windsurf slalom racing where tactics and on course choices could make or break your run. James however pipped an on form Kev Greenslade (no stranger to the podium) and Si Cofield to third.
